We would love if it helped to come and do in-house training for your church, fully adapted to your situation and needs. This could be on a Monday or Tuesday evening, and we’ll offer tips and encouragement specific to your context.
We’ve a very small band of teenagers just starting out playing together. Andy came and ran a session just for us which had a huge impact on the group’s confidence. They became braver at giving different drum and guitar techniques a go, and the session helped me feel more confident about how I can lead them all from the piano. The cello and violin blended well with his suggestions, and the voices enjoyed having a more confident band with them. He was kind and so careful to encourage them as they take their first steps leading a congregation to sing well. Can’t wait to have him back to develop our skills further.”

We had a great music training session with Andy Fenton a few weeks ago. He talked us through the biblical stance on praise and worship, and how the command is to sing to God and to our brothers and sisters. This is such a helpful perspective to come at it, as we then are thinking less about sounding amazing, and more about encouraging everyone to sing out loudly!
It was also just a really great to time sing and play together, and bond as a team.

The music ministry workshop was really helpful and enjoyable. It’s certainly given us new ways to think about how best to serve our church in singing God’s praises. I would highly recommend booking a music ministry workshop if you’re wondering about it.

“I loved the clear focus on getting the whole church family singing well and the pointers for how to improve that.”

We found this evening so helpful, it engaged our theologyical thinking on why we sing and our practical heads on how we might do that to best benefit our congregation. Clear teaching and helpful feedback for our team directly in the moment, but with grace.’

Our musicians had such an inspiring and encouraging morning with Andy! the workshop immediately injected a new sense of purpose within our ministry and the effects were tangible in the following Sunday services. Can't wait to have you back again.’

‘A really good evening, with lots of Biblical stuff for church leaders AND church musicians to think through together, rather than just focusing on performance skills’
